Chris Anderson has been practicing law in the Richmond area for almost 20 years. Emphasizing trial work, his practice includes both criminal and civil litigation. In the civil area, his practice emphasizes personal injury and medical malpractice. In the criminal arena, he handles everything from serious traffic offenses to violent felonies, including capital murder.
Mr. Anderson completed his undergraduate study at James Madison University and earned his law degree from The School of Law at North Carolina Central University. An Ashland native, he graduated from Patrick Henry High School.
Earlier in his law career, Mr. Anderson spent several years as an Assistant Public Defender for the City of Richmond. He then served 2 years as a Special Prosecutor with the Petersburg Commonwealth Attorney's Office, prosecuting violent crimes and drug cases. He was also an associate at Goodman Allen & Filetti; after serving as in-house counsel for The St. Paul and USF&G Insurance Companies.
Mr. Anderson is active in a variety of community and service affairs. He lives with his wife and their children, in Glen Allen.
