Steve Bricker has been practicing law for over 35 years. His practice throughout that time has emphasized trial work and litigation. His predominate focus is on medical malpractice and accident cases.
Over the years, Mr. Bricker has handled and tried a wide variety of personal injury, medical and civil rights cases. In addition to cases in Richmond, he has tried cases throughout Virginia, from Big Stone Gap in far southwestern Virginia to the Tidewater region.
Mr. Bricker is a former President of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and continues to serve on its Board of Governors. He received his law degree from the University of Virginia and his BA from Ohio Wesleyan University.
Raised predominately in Arlington, he came to Richmond in the 1970's to work in civil rights law for the American Civil Liberties Union. He is a former partner in the law firm of Bremner, Baber and Janus.
Mr. Bricker has been active in a variety of community activities. He lives with his wife, Janet Scagnelli, and their two children in the Ginter Park section of Richmond.
